A Mount Pleasant man wanted in connection with an armed robbery last month was arrested during the weekend in Charlotte, local authorities said Monday.
Calvin Malone Vanderhorst, 18, of Rifle Range Road, was taken into custody Saturday by a Charleston-based U.S. Marshals task force and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Inspector Chris Helms of the Mount Pleasant Police Department said Vanderhorst was arrested without incident.
He had been wanted on three counts of armed robbery, police said, including a charge in a Jan. 21 heist on Babington Way.
At that time, Vanderhorst was out on bail after his arrest in a June 6 robbery at a Bank of America ATM on U.S. Highway 17, police said.
