We asked readers to send in their photos of the winter storm that closed schools and bridges on Jan. 29, 2014 and you responded with more than 200 images, with subjects ranging from children seeing snow or sleet for their first time, to palm fronds glistening with coats of ice.
To those of you who submitted photos, thank you! And to those who wonder how people in the South Carolina Lowcountry respond to an event like this one, enjoy perusing the galleries.
We have stopped accepting submissions for the Winter Storm reader galleries. Keep an eye on postandcourier.com and follow us on Facebook and Twitter to be informed about the next request for reader photos.
