After four years at the helm of Summerville Medical Center, CEO Lou Caputo has accepted a position to lead the TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., Trident Health announced Friday.
Summerville Medical Center is part of the Trident Health hospital system, owned by the for-profit parent company HCA Healthcare.
StoneCrest Medical Center is part of TriStar Health, a multi-state system with facilities in Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee, according to its website.
Caputo will remain in Summerville until March 3. A press release about his departure reports that Trident Health will launch a national search to find his replacement.
