Strong winds tonight call for caution on bridges, according to the National Weather Service.
Gusts could reach 40 mph, according to forecasters. The gusts could blow around lawn furniture and trash cans, so they should be secured.
A front that was bringing winds, hail and colder temperatures was moving into the area Tuesday. Temperatures were expected to contilnue to drop throughout the day and night. The wind advisory is in effect until 10 p.m.
Hailstones the size of dimes and nickels were reported at 2:55 p.m. at U.S. Highway 78 and Deming Way. A caller reported hail the size of dimes on James Island around 3:30 p.m.
