A man was hit in the head with a gun during an argument outside a North Charleston apartment complex Wednesday afternoon.
North Charleston police were called to 2047 Pine Forest Drive shortly before 5 p.m., police spokesman Spencer Pryor said.
A man told police he and several others were standing outside when two other men approached them, got into an argument with them, hit him in the head with the handle of a gun and ran off, Pryor said.
One man was believed to be carrying a chrome hand gun and was described as a slim black man in his mid-20s, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with shoulder-length dread locks, wearing black pants, black boots and a black jacket.
The other man was also believed to be carrying a gun and was described as a slim black man, 17 to 18 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with four gold teeth on the top, wearing black military combat-style pants and black and white Jordan shoes.
