It's up to the South Carolina defense to contain Wisconsin running backs Melvin Gordon and James White during the Jan. 1 Capital One Bowl, and to prevent thousands of vacationing Badger fans from breaking into a "U Dub Step" routine.

The touchdown celebration dance popularized by Gordon and White went big time with a youtube video. It features Wisconsin Athletic Director Barry Alvarez doing the dance in his office with former Heisman Trophy winner Ron Dayne, and captures the craze sweeping Wisconsin.

School kids and cheese factory workers are doing it, along with hockey players, basketball players and Bucky The Badger.

Gordon and White are the real stars.

Gordon is 12th in the nation in rushing with 1,466 yards (12 touchdowns).

White is 15th with 1,337 yards (13 touchdowns).

No. 19 Wisconsin, 9-3 going into its game against No. 9 South Carolina (10-2), is eighth in the nation in team rushing, averaging 283 yards per game.

The ultimate Cheese State tip of the cap to the "U Dub Step" came from Lambeau Field: Green Packers running backs Eddie Lacy and James Starks were seen doing the dance during a game against the Chicago Bears.
