PALM COAST, Fla. -- Authorities have shut down northbound Interstate 95 in Flagler County on one of the busiest travel days of the Christmas season.

The northbound lanes of I-95 were shut down Tuesday following a fatal truck crash in the early morning.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office says the northbound lanes stretching from Palm Coast Parkway to U.S. 1 could be closed for as long as 24 hours.

Traffic is being diverted to State Road 100 and U.S. 1.
