South Carolina woman charged with murder, conspiracy in daughter's shooting death

HARTSVILLE - A woman has now been charged with murder and conspiracy in the shooting death of her 21-month-old daughter in Hartsville earlier this month.

Twenty-three-year-old April Dixon originally had been charged with accessory after the fact of murder and failure to report a crime. Prosecutors did not explain why the additional charges were filed.

Madison Dolford was shot to death two weeks ago.

Forty-year-old Timothy Sanders was charged with murder.
