A search warrant netted two arrests on drug and weapon charges Wednesday, Charleston police said.

Mark Gedeon, 31, and Nakeya Lessington, 29, both of Parsonage Road, are charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, according to police spokesman Charles Francis. Gedeon received an additional charge of distribution of cocaine.

In a search of a Parsonage Road apartment, police confiscated 15 grams of cocaine, 1.5 grams of marijuana and a gun, Francis said.

Gedeon and Lessington are being held at the Charleston County jail pending a bail hearing.
