More than 130 business and civic executives spent Thursday in schools during the 10th annual Principal for a Day initiative.
Sponsored by the Education Foundation and the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, the event allows business leaders to shadow principals doing their daily duties. The goal is to show the business community supports public education and wants to be engaged in schools.
Schools in Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester 2 and 4 participated in the event, which was followed by a debriefing breakfasts on Friday.
