Charleston police on Wednesday arrested a man accused of robbing two people at gunpoint on Thanksgiving.
Daniel Wright Jr., 21, of Ashley Crossing Drive, is charged with two counts of armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis said. He was held at the Charleston County jail.
Police charged Wright in connection with an incident that happened on Nov. 28. According to Francis, Wright approached two people who were standing in a driveway on Wisteria Road and robbed them of their purses and cell phones.
The robbery remains under investigation, Francis said.
