Public comment sought for IOP police accreditation
The public is invited to comment on the operations of the Isle of Palms Police Department as part of a voluntary process of evaluation by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies.
Comments must address the agency’s compliance with CALEA standards, which may be reviewed at the Police Department Accreditation Office. The local contact is Capt. Kimberly Usry at (843)886-6522.
IOP police employees and community members are invited to offer comments at 6 p.m. on Dec. 16 in the city Public Safety Building Training Room, 30JC Long Boulevard.
