A man police say held up a North Charleston pharmacy in October was arrested Tuesday.
Richard David Lindsey, 24, of Mill Creek Road was charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
A pharmacist at the Kmart at 8571 Rivers Ave. told police a man wearing a black hoodie and a green-and-white hoodie came up to counter Oct. 18 and presented a note saying he was armed and wanted oxycodone. The man said he was sick and didn’t want to kill anybody, and the pharmacist gave him 355 doses of oxycodone, according to the police report.
Police put out a warrant for Lindsey’s arrest.
Officers were called to the Charleston International Airport on Tuesday. Airport police said he walked into an airport bathroom near the main entrance, and they took him into custody without incident, according to the report.
Lindsey was being held in the Charleston County jail on $300,000 bail Wednesday
