A missing man may have run from a wreck on the Don Holt Bridge early Sunday morning, according to the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office.
James Matthew Brown, 38, of Brown Pelican Drive in Wando was reported missing Tuesday. A friend said he had not seen Brown since about 4 p.m. Saturday at the Big Game Bar & Grill on Belle Station Boulevard in Mount Pleasant, according to an incident report. Brown was driving a 2010 black Toyota Tundra.
Witnesses said a man ran after a wreck on the Don Holt Bridge about 1 a.m. Sunday. The truck that wrecked was Brown’s, Sheriff’s Capt. Eric Watson said.
Brown has brown hair and beard, hazel eyes, is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds, according to deputies.
Family and friends say he may have possible medical issues, Watson said.
