A North Charleston man walking home from a nearby store was assaulted and robbed on Saturday morning, according to police.
Police arrested Dartavion Ferguson and Dartez Ferguson, both 17, of Cambridge, and charged them with strong armed robbery.
A 42-year-old man told police he was walking back from the A1 store and while walking into his yard on Houston Drive, was hit from behind in the right ear at around 8:30 a.m., according to an incident report.
The man was forced to the ground by two people who demanded the man’s money and stole his wallet, police said. The man told authorities he doesn’t know what he was hit with and could not hear out of his right ear after being struck, the report stated.
