ERROR: Macro postandcourier/header is missing!

Charleston Police are seeking a man who handed a pharmacist a note demanding Oxycontin late Saturday afternoon at the CVS at 1739 Maybank Highway.

The pharmacist cooperated with the man and handed him a bottled labeled “controlled substance,” police said.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction. He is described as white, having tattoos up and down both arms, between the ages of 30 and 40, five-feet eight-inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

Anyone with information about the crime or the suspect can call Charleston Police at 577-7434 and press 4 at the prompt for the duty officer.
