Car strikes Summerville McDonald’s

A car struck the side of the McDonald's restaurant on U.S. 17A near the I-26 interchange Friday night while in the drive-thru line.

A car drove into a McDonald’s restaurant while in the drive-thru line Friday night.

The wreck happened just before 10 p.m. at the McDonald’s and Pilot convenience store on U.S. 17A near the I-26 interchange, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.

No injuries were initially reported.
