Four people were arrested on meth charges after a traffic stop near Goose Creek Wednesday.

The car was stopped on North Goose Creek Boulevard, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Dan Moon said. A dog with the Berkeley County Drug Enforcement Unit found components used to manufacture methamphetamine in the back seat and trunk, Moon said.

Preston Long, 24, of Hanahan, Hillery Stidham, 34, of Summerville, Brian Rourk, 25, of St. Stephen and Shaquille Harris, 20, of Moncks Corner were all charged with attempting to manufacture methamphetamine.

They were being held in the Berkeley County jail awaiting a bond hearing Thursday.
