We’re running out of teams.
Week 13 of the high school football season is about to kick off, and only seven teams from the Lowcountry remain in the hunt to play another day: Summerville, Stratford, Goose Creek, Bishop England, Timberland and Beaufort, and SCISA entry Colleton Prep, which plays for a Class A state championship Saturday against Williamsburg Academy.
In other words, we’re running out of time. The High School League will crown its state champions next week in Class A and the following week for the Class AA, AAA and AAAA teams.
The curtain is falling on The Pick Six contest between The Post and Courier’s Phil Bowman and ABC News 4 anchor Dean Stephens.
Stephens continues to give Bowman a lesson in prognosticating. He went 5-1 last week to Bowman’s 4-2.
All Bowman, the king of procrastination, says is, “There’s always next year.”
Here are this week’s picks:

Stephens: Summerville moves on to the third round —24-17.
