Meeting on James Island intersection plans set for Thursday

Department of Transportation planners will hold a public information meeting on proposed improvements to the Riverland Drive and Camp Road intersection on James Island.

The meeting is planned for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Fort Johnson Middle School Cafeteria at 1825 Camp Road. A brief formal presentation will start at 5:30 p.m. Concept plans and other information will be on display. Written and verbal comments will be collected, as well as information on area historic and cultural resources.
