GREENWOOD, S.C. -- Authorities say the bodies of two women who were shot to death have been found in a motel in Greenwood.
Police say a maintenance worker discovered the bodies at around 5 p.m. Wednesday in a room at the Extended Stay Motel. The worker told authorities the door to the room was partially open.
Greenwood County Coroner Sonny Cox has identified the women as 33-year-old Elizabeth Brooke Bourne of Greenwood and 38-year-old Danielle Quinn Graham of Ware Shoals.
Autopsies were planned Thursday. Cox has not said how the women knew each other or if they were related. Authorities are investigating the deaths as a double homicide and say they do not have any suspects.
