Sullivan's Island resident Stanford Joel has captured more video footage of coyotes prowling around the barrier island when humans are scarce.
Joel said he knew wildlife lived in the area, so last month he set up a motion- and heat-activated camera on his fence facing into a beach access path.
Soon, two coyotes were captured on camera prowling off Station 26 1/2, near the beach, according to Joel, who posted the video on YouTube. His camera also got footage of some deer.
Joel has now posted more footage, including one segment that shows a coyote coming right up to the camera to investigate. He also secured his first daylight shots of his furry visitors.
