Biggest win in Charleston Southern football history, 31-26 upset of Coastal Carolina

Charleston Southern used a balanced offense and clutch defense Saturday to notch the biggest win in school football history, a 31-26 upset of Coastal Carolina at Buccaneer Field in North Charleston.

The Chanticleers (9-1) are No. 3 in the FCS coaches poll and defending Big South Conference champions. No. 16 CSU improved to 10-1.

CSU set a school record for most wins in a season, and has regular season games left against Gardner-Webb and Liberty.

Quarterback Danny Crogan passed for 166 yards and one touchdown and ran for 43 yards. Christian Reyes ran for 117 yards and two touchdowns.
