Murphy and his Minions win

Douglas Murphy and his Minions were winners of the 2013 jack o’ lantern carving/decorating contest sponsored by The Post and Courier. Murphy was the top vote winner in an online poll that ended Thursday.

Murphy’s stepdaughter, Chloe Belton, 14, helped decorate the pumpkins.

For his victory, Murphy received a big basket of gourmet goodies and two tickets to the Coastal Carolina Fair.
