GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Authorities are working to identify a body found in a remote area at the end of a Greenville County road.
Sheriff’s deputies were called at around 3 p.m. Wednesday to an isolated area off Whispering Hollow Road.
Investigators say it appears the decomposed body had been there for at least a few weeks.
Coroner Parks Evans says dental records may play a key role in identifying the person, who had had extensive dental work done. Authorities have brought in a forensic anthropologist to help with that process.
