GREENVILLE, S.C. -- A logistics company whose parent firm already operates a plant in South Carolina is establishing its North American headquarters in Greenville County and plans to create almost 150 jobs.
The state Commerce Department announced Friday that KI Logistics will invest more than $11 million in the new facility at The Matrix Business and Technology Park in Greenville County. The company is a subsidiary of Kimura, Inc.
In addition to the headquarters, the company plans to establish a logistics operation at the site.
Kimura’s already operates a 70,000 square-foot manufacturing plant in Laurens that makes steel containers and racks used in automotive industry. Its customers include Toyota.
