No, it’s not tennis. But ABC News 4’s Dean Stephens’ scores the past two weeks are 6-0, 6-0.
The former sports anchor turned lead man at the station has honed his prognosticating skills to perfection, outdueling and out-predicting The Post and Courier’s Phil Bowman.
Bowman wasn’t too far off in the Pick Six Contest last week, going 5-1. His only mistake was picking Bishop England to lose to Woodland.
Here are this week’s picks:
Stratford at South Florence
Bowman: Stratford faces difficult road game, but should be a happy ride home. Stratford, 21-17
Stephens: The Knights are just as tough on the road as they are at home. Stratford, 28-21.
Fort Dorchester at Beaufort
Bowman: Fort Dorchester is playing quality football. Patriots, 28-10
Stephens: Steve LaPrad has the Patriots dialed in. Fort Dorchester, 24-7.
Bishop England at Ridgeland-Hardeeville
Bowman: This won’t be easy for Bishops. Bishop England, 17-13.
Stephens: BE took care of business last week, will do the same this week. Bishop England, 31-17.
Stall at Hanahan
Bowman: This one will be easy. Hanahan, 35-7.
Stephens: Hanahan continues to roll. Hawks, 41-10.
Berkeley at Hilton Head
Bowman: Stags finish regular season on good note. Berkeley, 21-12.
Stephens: This one will be close. Berkeley, 21-20.
Ashley Ridge at Summerville
Bowman: Summerville closing in on Region 8-AAAA title. Green Wave, 27-14
Stephens: Coach McKissick just keeps on winning. Summerville, 31-21.
