Tonia Aiken Taylor
Family: Husband, Jerome A. Taylor; three daughters.
Education: Charleston Southern University, Truth Bible College (master’s and doctorates).
Occupation: Assistant pastor.
Political History: One term, Moncks Corner Town Council.
Why I am qualified: I have served for four years and truly love the mobilizing of our great community. I am an educator. I grow businesses and have added tremendously to its economy and the well-being of our citizens.
Goals if elected: To ensure excellent day-to-day service provided to our community and to focus on the youth.

Education: Bachelor of Science, Coastal Carolina University; Associate Degree Nursing, Horry-Georgetown Technical College.
Occupation: Clemson Extension Agent, Charleston and Dorchester counties.
Why I’m Qualified: Moncks Corner is where I have chosen to live and raise a family. I believe that the best way to give back to a community is active involvement.
Goals If Elected: To preserve and enhance the quality of life and municipal services for the residents of Moncks Corner.

Why I’m Qualified: My character and reputation, six years on town planning commission, military background, the legal field, as a reporter, as a resident of the town, and good common sense, are qualities and experience I will bring to the position of Town Councilwoman.
Goals If Elected: To remain dedicated to Moncks Corner and its residents, to listen and actually hear ideas and issues, and to then consider and apply my experience to what I have been entrusted with. I have no agenda or platform.

Family: Husband, Joey Bilton; two children.
Education: Attended College of Charleston majoring in Elementary Education.
Occupation: Run family auto business (Bilton Motor Company) with my husband.
Political history: Elected to Moncks Corner Town Council in 2009.
Why I’m qualified: I feel I am qualified to continue on town council because of my proven record as a council member committed to the town. I am a long-time resident of Moncks Corner and I have a true passion for improving our town.
Goals if elected: My main goal is to provide residents of Moncks Corner with a town they are proud to call home.
