Wow, what a great collection of photos this week.
We asked for your art of nature photos and you delivered, showing us the beauty in everything from a spider, to a black swamp, to a snake fat on chicken eggs.
It was extremely difficult to choose a winner but ultimately the editors chose Jenion Tyson’s photo to appear in the People section of Saturday’s Post and Courier. Pick up a copy to read what the editors liked most about it.
We’re hopeful we’ll get as many as inspired responses to this week’s topic: Bridges of the Lowcountry.
- Send one (1) photograph to firstname.lastname@example.org by noon on Tuesday, Oct. 29. Include your name, town and where the photo was taken.
- If you want your photo to be eligible to run in the newspaper, it must be at least 1,500 pixels. Our editors will select which photo will appear each week. We reserve the right to not publish any photo for any reason.
- We will allow photographs with reasonable watermarks to run in the gallery but for the winning photo that runs in the newspaper we must have a photo that does not have a watermark. If you want to send us one with the watermark (to run online) and one without (to possibly run in the newspaper) please feel free.
