Four people suspected of breaking into cars and houses in Mount Pleasant were arrested Wednesday.

Police said the crimes were committed in The Groves, Runaway Bay Apartments, Planters Pointe, Brickyard and the Old Village.

Allison Marie Mast, 20, and Brian John Toler, 22, both of Shoreside Way in Mount Pleasant; John Joseph Haeger, 44, of Walpole Way on Johns Island, and Bryan Earls, 32, of North Pinebark Lane in Charleston, face multiple counts of breaking into a motor vehicle and larceny.

Toler was also charged with possession of a handgun.

The four were arrested after officers responded to a call of a burglary in progress on Grove Manor Court Monday, and the resident identified Toler, according to police.
