Man robs KMart of oxycodone
A man got away from a North Charleston pharmacy Friday with several bottles of oxycodone, according to the North Charleston Police Department.
At about 3:40 p.m. Friday, a light-skinned black male wearing blue jeans, a blue jean jacket and a green and white striped hooded sweatshirt presented a note demanding the pills at the pharmacy counter at KMart at 8571 Rivers Ave.
He was about 5’8” to 5’10” tall, in his mid-20s and wearing a baseball hat and sunglasses. He indicated that he was armed but no weapon was seen, according to police.
He was given several bottles of pills and fled the store, getting into a turquoise vehicle with two black males. The vehicle headed toward Goose Creek.
A search was conducted, but the subject and vehicle were not located.
