Bullets strike door, windshield, tire of North Charleston man’s car
A North Charleston man told police that his car was shot-up in an incident that left three bullet holes in a door, a busted-out driver-side window and a flat tire.
The car owner, Tyehemba Grant, 21, of Red Birch Circle, said he was working at TJ’s Barber Shop on Dorchester Road when he heard shots outside at about 10 p.m. Wednesday. At the time, he did not think anything of the shots, police said.
Grant told police he did not notice the damage to his 1997 Chevy Blazer until he arrived at his brother’s place of work on Leeds Avenue. Grant told investigators he had no idea who was responsible for the shooting. Police found a slug in the driver’s side door.
