“We have been advertising this property as a single family dwelling,” says Eddie Hiers, who is handling the rental.
The lease would be $2,400 a month. The house became available to rent Tuesday.
According to Hiers, the features include high-end amenities in the bedrooms, kitchen and living room.
A “very large” master suite contains a reading-sitting area and tray ceiling. All the bedrooms sport ceiling fans and contain carpeting.
Separately, the family room boasts a 16-foot ceiling with tile floors. Plantation shutters protect windows in the bedrooms, living room, dining room and dinette.

A few perks can be found throughout the house. There’s a central vacuum system upstairs and downstairs and an intercom-music system in all the bedrooms, kitchen, living room, front porch and rear deck.
Also, oak hardwood floors grace the living room, dining room, dinette area, foyer and kitchen.

The house sports a double garage with a work area, cabinets and an overhead door opener. There’s also a landscaped yard with irrigation system.
Anyone leasing the home can take advantage of neighborhood perks at Ashland Plantation such as a community dock, boat landing and tennis court.
According to Hiers, the rental house is a “well-maintained spacious single family home.”
The Ashland Plantation home sits toward the eastern side of the neighborhood. Traveling west, take Highway 61, first as St. Andrews Boulevard and then Ashley River Road. Follow the roadway across Sam Rittenberg Boulevard. Continue straight at the turnoff for Paul Cantrell Boulevard and Glenn McConnell Parkway. Go about three miles on Ashley River Road. Take a right into Ashland Plantation, then make the first right on Ashley Ferry Road. The road intersects with Rice Pond Road. Ahead is 2281 Rice Pond Road.
