The sheriff’s offices in Charleston and Beaufort counties are looking for a man who went missing from the Charleston area last week.
William Alexander Apps, 25, of Meeting Street, is a former College of Charleston student and has ties to the Beaufort area as well, Charleston County Sheriff’s Maj. Jim Brady said. Deputies began looking for him today, he said.
Apps was last known to be in the area of Spring Street in Charleston, as well as in the Ion area of Mount Pleasant, on Thursday evening around 5 p.m., Brady said.
Apps is 6 feet 1 inch tall, 234 pounds and has blue-green eyes and black hair, deputies said.
His last Facebook post, on Oct. 3, read: “Time to go ride in the country.”
Anyone who has seen Apps or has additional information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Barry Goldstein at 308-7339 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
