Police investigate North Charleston shooting

North Charleston Police are investigating a shooting on Piedmont Avenue in North Charleston.

Shortly before 5 p.m. Friday, officers were called to the area, where a male victim told them he was standing at the entrance of a mobile home park when a gold colored vehicle drove by and fired a shot. He was unable to provide any information about a suspect.

The victim was transported to the Medical University with a single gunshot wound to his right inner thigh.
