The remains of two buildings that were heavily damaged in last week’s fire in Georgetown fell down Saturday night, according to the Georgetown Times.
The facades of Zest restaurant and Doodelbugs collapsed overnight. The newspaper called it a major setback to the efforts to preserve historic Front Street.
The blaze took out several buildings on Front Street Wednesday. Investigators believe it started on the rear deck on Limpin’ Janes and quickly spread.
