ABBEVILLE, S.C. -- A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in a shooting death in Abbeville earlier this year.

The Index-Journal of Greenwood reported that 30-year-old Jamil Phillips was shot and killed as he was about to enter his parents’ home March 25.

Family and friends are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. CrimeStoppers also is offering a $1,000 reward in the case.

Abbeville County sheriff’s deputies and State Law Enforcement Division agents are investigating.
