Darkness to Light has launched a redeveloped training program and will air a new documentary film tonight in Charleston to teach prevention of child sexual abuse.
The film debuts at 7 p.m. in Charleston Music Hall, 37 John St. Call 965-5444 to reserve a seat. A reception for survivors and families is at 5:30 p.m.
D2L’s documentary features a new cast of abuse survivors, professionals and parents who share personal stories, insight and advice for prevention, according to a news release.
The workshop series has been designed into a concise, two–hour format and includes an improved online platform with simple functionality and user interface, according to the release. A Spanish language narration version also is available.
