Eminem’s childhood home up for auction

The childhood home of rapper Eminem has gone up for auction in Detroit.

The Detroit News reported that the small, single-family house on the city’s northeast side is listed on a state website. No price was given for the 747-square-foot home.

Public records show the home was listed as the address of Eminem’s mother, Deborah Mathers, from 1989 to 2003.

The newspaper says a past owner of the home listed it on eBay for $500,000 but received no bids. A real estate website shows it sold for $24,650 in 2007.

Ga. town gears up for ‘Dumb and Dumber’

GRANTVILLE, Ga. — Production crews are planning to film scenes for the new sequel to the 1994 movie “Dumb and Dumber” in the west Georgia town of Grantville.

According to The Times-Herald of Newnan, filming is set for Monday in downtown Grantville and surrounding areas as it becomes actress Barbara Hershey’s hometown in Kansas.

A mural is replacing the Coca-Cola sign on the side of the building next to the genealogical library.

Movie location manager Maida Morgan said the Coca-Cola sign will be repainted after filming concludes.

McAfee ranks Collins top ‘dangerous’ search

NEW YORK — If you’re curious about Lily Collins and head to the Internet to find out, beware — McAfee has ranked the actress as the most dangerous celeb to search for online.

Collins, who starred in movies such as “Mirror, Mirror” and “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones,” posed the biggest risk of landing on a malicious site, according to the computer security company.

Last year, Emma Watson topped the list.

Female celebrities were the overwhelming lure to malware; Avril Lavigne, Sandra Bullock, Kathy Griffin and Zoe Saldana rounded out the top five; “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm was the only man in the top 10.

Spears plans two years of Las Vegas shows

Britney Spears is heading to Las Vegas.

The 31-year-old pop star confirmed a two-year residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. “Britney: Piece of Me” will debut Dec. 27. Spears announced 16 dates, but she will perform 50 shows each in 2014 and 2015.

Ticket prices for “Britney: Piece of Me” range from $59 to $179.
