Motorcycle hit deer in Adams Run, seriously injuring rider and passenger

A motorcycle hit a deer Tuesday in rural Charleston County, seriously injuring the rider and passenger.

The accident was reported about 7:30 p.m. in the area of 7200 Toogoodoo Road in Adams Run, according to Charleston County sheriff’s Maj. Jim Brady. A witness told deputies the motorcycle hit a deer, throwing the rider and passenger off the bike.

The rider and passenger were taken to Medical University Hospital with serious injuries.
