GOOSE CREEK—Jacob Park remained on target and Stratford remained undefeated.
The Knights topped the Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes, 42-27, Friday night as Park, one of the top quarterbacks in the country, passed for 346 yards and three touchdowns. He now has 1,255 yards on the season as the Knights upped their record to 4-0. Ashley Ridge fell to 0-4.
Stratford jumped to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. Jordan Johnson scored the first of his two touchdowns on a 6-yard run. That’s when Park began his air show. He threw an 88-yard TD pass to Thad Thompson and added a 17-yard strike to Tyree Scroggins to push the lead to 21-7.
Park and Thompson hooked up on an 80-yard score and Park then connected with Scroggins again for a 64-yard score.
Stratford travels to Colleton County next week while Ashley Ridge hosts Cane Bay.
