East Cooper Medical Center is in expansion mode.
Mt. Pleasant Mayor Billy Swails and East Cooper Medical Center CEO Jason Alexander are scheduled to break ground on a new 42,000-square-foot medical office on Tuesday, according to a press release about the new construction.
The office will be located on East Cooper Medical Center’s Mt. Pleasant campus.
Kari Davis, director of Business Development at East Cooper Medical Center, said the new building will house an orthopedic practice, two OB-GYN practices, a lab and some physical therapists.
Davis did not know the project’s estimated cost.
