Charleston County investigators today released new photos of a woman suspected of robbing two Charleston area drug stores of pills.
Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a woman who they said stole oxycodone pills from a Walgreens store at 3621 Savannah Highway on Sept. 13.
Charleston County sheriff’s deputies suspect the same woman robbed a CVS pharmacy on Friday in Ravenel on Sept. 3.
A woman wearing a ball cap, black clothes and dark glasses handed a note to a clerk at CVS, 6323 Savannah Highway, on Sept. 3 demanding drugs, according to a police report. She indicated in the note that she was not armed, but the clerk handed over two bottles of unknown narcotics, the report stated.
The woman then fled with the note and the pills.
Investigators suspect she also stole pills from the Walgreens at 3621 Savannah Highway on Friday. That crime was committed by a woman wearing surgical gloves, a white, long-sleeve shirt, black pants, flip flops, sunglasses and a black baseball cap, deputies said.
She handed over a note demanding Oxycodone and left with an unknown quantity of pills, deputies said.
Anyone with information on the suspect or the crimes can call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
