Wrecks cleared from I-26 eastbound, traffic moving again

Traffic backs up following a 7:50 a.m. wreck near the Cosgrove Exit.

Two wrecks that combined to snarl I-26 eastbound traffic this morning for three hours have been cleared.

Just as I-26 eastbound traffic began to thin out following a wreck at the 212 mile marker a second wreck caused major delays near the Cosgrove Avenue Exit.

The second wreck was reported at 7:50 a.m. near mile marker 216. One lane was closed until about 9:40 a.m. The wreck came as authorities reopened lanes that were shut down due to a 6:37 a.m. wreck near the I-526 interchange.
