Charleston County sheriff’s deputies have charged a man and a woman in connection with a meth lab found in Lincolnville on Tuesday.
Ronald Patterson, 33, of Hiltonia, Ga., and Michelle Thompson, 35, of Owens Drive in Lincolnville, are charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and disposing of meth waste. Both are being held at the Charleston County jail.
Deputies went to a Owens Drive mobile home Tuesday morning after multiple sources told them a meth lab was operating there, according to a police report.
Deputies found chemicals and other items used to make meth and a clear fluid believed to be the remnant of a previous drug cooking session, according to arrest affidavits. The waste from the meth lab had been placed in a trash container for curbside pickup, an affidavit stated.
Thomspon gave a signed statement to deputies implicating herself in the meth lab, affidavits stated.
