A 16-year-old youth was shot in the upper leg at a Walterboro home Sunday afternoon.
The teenager was shot about 1:50 p.m. at 306 Green Pond Highway, at the intersection of Beechwood Road, according to a source at the scene. The teenager was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Walterboro Public Safety was investigating.
This was the second shooting in Walterboro in five days. An 18-year-old woman was shot in the leg during a drive-by shooting at her Savage Street home on Tuesday.
