New book recalls old Charleston
Charleston Guide Books Publishing Company has released Mary Coy’s “To Hear Them Tell It: Memories of Growing Up in Charleston.”
Coy, a fourth-generation Charlestonian, interviewed more than two dozen locals from uptown and downtown neighborhoods to produce an illustrated anthology that highlights the way the city has changed over the years.
The book retails for $15.99 and is available at local stores and at Amazon.com.
