Wow.

Seriously.

Wow.

We asked you to send us your best Lowcountry at Night photo and we received 19 outstanding entries that helped us see our beautiful region in a new light, with relatively little light.

It was an extremely tough choice this week but congratulations to Chris Thompson, whose photo of Waterfront Park will appear on the cover of the People section of Saturday’s Post and Courier. Pick up a copy to read the editors’ comments.

Next week’s assignment: Texture. Be it architecture or in nature, the Lowcountry has a lot of fascinating textures. Send your best shot to yourphotos@postandcourier.com by noon Tuesday.

The rules: Include your name, town and where the photo was taken.

If you want your photo to be eligible to run in the newspaper, it must be at least 1,500 pixels and not have a commercial watermark. Our editors will select which photo will appear each week. We reserve the right to not publish any photo for any reason.

Get shooting!
