MULLINS — Authorities say a man has been struck and killed by a car while lying in the street he lived on in Mullins.
Investigators said Vander Genwright was struck around 2:15 a.m. Sunday and died a short time later at the hospital.
Authorities don’t know why Genwright was in the road. He lived in a house just down the street.
An autopsy has been ordered and the Highway Patrol is still investigating the incident.
