The Rotary Club of Charleston Breakfast has partnered with Water Missions International to provide safe water and sanitation in developing countries and disaster areas through the 2013 Rotary Wheels Gala.
The public gala will be 6-10:30 p.m. Sept. 12 at Memminger Auditorium in downtown Charleston. The event will include silent and live auctions, live music, local cuisine and a full bar.
“Together, the Rotary Club of Charleston Breakfast and Water Missions International will transform lives by providing the most basic of human needs: safe water and sanitation,” said Molly Greene, Water Missions co-founder and board chairwoman.
A portion of funds raised also will benefit local charities through an endowment established by the Rotary Club of Charleston Breakfast Inc. Since 2005, the Charleston Breakfast Rotary Club has given more than $130,000 to Lowcountry charities.
Gala tickets cost $75 each. A limited number of VIP tables can be reserved for $2,500.
